David Prostko, 79, recently of Clayton, DE, after spending many years raising his family in West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2026 at Frederick Health Hospital, surrounded by family.
David was born on September 12th 1946 in McKeees Rocks, Pennsylvania to Fred and Agnes Prostko and attended Lehigh University. He then created his own business as a Business Development Consultant and has shared many years with his beloved work family at LEHB. Throughout his life, David was known as a devoted mentor and a father figure to many of the “Lost Boys” and others needing fatherly figures or guidance along the way.
David was the husband of Molly with whom he shared 36 years of marriage that he met in the theater. He found joy in painting, reading science fiction, and being a leader in various community activities supporting his children including coaching, acting as a commissioner of the basketball league, and mentoring youth.
