David Patrick Reynolds

David Patrick Reynolds, a loving husband, father and friend to all, passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 64. His friends and family alike mourn his loss but celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

David was born on December 3, 1958, in Takoma Park, Maryland. He was deeply loved by his parents Osker Craig Reynolds and Patricia Marian Reynolds and his brother Craig Reynolds. David cherished his family above all else and found solace in their company throughout his life.

 David's wife Renu Reynolds and son Osker were the center of his world. He loved his father-in-law Prem Malhotra, and brother-in-law Sanjeev Malhotra deeply, and considered his nieces Shona and Tarana Malhotra his own children.  He also held a special place in his heart for his brother's son Thomas Reynolds. David was easy to love and will be missed by many other friends and family members.

David led a somewhat alternative but fullfiling life, always finding joy in the little things around him. He was an avid firearms collector who took pride in growing a vast collection over time. Although a fan of many sports, David's true love was baseball, and he was a dedicated supporter of the Washington Senators and eventually the Baltimore Orioles.  Above all things David enjoyed being in nature. He enjoyed hunting or fishing but was most content just sitting back and enjoying the scenery and wildlife, especially at the family property in West Virginia- his true happy place.

David's love for simple cheeseburgers was no secret and a demonstration of his great appreciation for the little things in life.  David was an instant hit with dogs and children; they saw him as he truly was, a gentle soul and a giant kid at heart.

A deeply compassionate man with strong religious beliefs, David cherished the world around us as a gift from God to be enjoyed fully. His deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures inspired those around him to live lives full of wonderment

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 with service to follow.  A Celebration of his life will be held at the Reynold's home at 11779 Rowe Court, Monrovia, MD 21770 after services conclude.  Private interment will be on Thursday June 1st, 2023, at the Reynolds Family Property in West Virginia.

David's life has been a testament to hope and positivity that will remain an inspiration forever; his kindness will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace, David Patrick Reynolds.
