Deanna Doctolero

With deep love and gratitude for her life, we announce that Deanna Doctolero, age 73, of Frederick, Maryland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Born on February 2, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland to Russell Albin Bolinder and Dorothy Ruth Snyder Bolinder, Deanna lived a life marked by love, faith, and generosity. She married the love of her life, Steve Doctolero, on June 10, 1972. They spent 52 years together, building a home and raising their beautiful family.

Deanna was a devoted grandmother, mother, wife, and friend. She was known for her strong spirit, her love of animals, and the way she cared for her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, taking in the beauty of rivers and mountains, and dancing to live music.

Left to cherish Deanna’s memory are her husband, Steve Doctolero of Frederick, Maryland, her three children, Tina Lewandowski and her life partner Jerome Mychalowych of Towson, Maryland, Angie Weiler and her husband Brian Weiler of Highland Mills, New York, and Jordan Doctolero and his fiancee Jessie Cooper of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and three grand children, Meredith Lewandowski, Alec Lewandowski, and Mia Weiler. She is also survived by one brother, Michael Bolinder and his wife Lora Bolinder of Beverly, West Virginia, her dear sister-in-law Aileen Bolinder of Elkins, West Virginia, and her brother-in-law Gordon Garrettson of Pasadena, Maryland.

Deanna will be greeted in Heaven by those who precede her in death, including both of her parents, three of her siblings, Dorothy Mullen, Tammy Garrettson, and Russell Bolinder, and her beloved dog, Molly.

A memorial service will be held to honor Deanna’s life on Monday, November 10 at 11:00 AM. The memorial will take place at Stauffer Funeral Home located at 40 Fulton Ave, Walkersville, MD 21793.
