Debbie Susan Comer

Debbie S. Comer, 54, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born on March 22, 1972, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Terry Anne Clagett Buckler and the late Harvey Ernest Buckler.

She was a graduate of Paint Branch High School, Silver Spring. Debbie was employed as a waitress and cashier and salesperson at various businesses.

She enjoyed playing cards, watching old sitcoms on TV, loved cats and visiting with her friends. Debbie volunteered at her local catholic church in Florida serving the homeless.

Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, Brandon Comer; her aunt Vicki Clagett as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents George and Ionia Clagett and great grandparents George and Evalyn Clagett.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy.

A graveside service and interment will take place at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Parklawn Memorial Park in Rockville, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
