Delores Jean Ayers

February 29, 1960 — January 22, 2024

New Market

Delores Jean Ayers, 63 of Frederick, MD went to her Heavenly home on January 22, 2024.

Jeannie was born on February 29, 1960 in Hancock County Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William B. Ayers and Martha L. Ayers (Carmony).

She is survived by a sister, Eula Grey Huff of Tennessee and brothers: James Edward Ayers of West Virginia, Kenneth Joe Ayers and wife Mae Delores Ayers of Maryland, Charles David Ayers of Maryland and William Ray Ayers of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by sisters: Roberta Mabe and Diane Crawford.

Jeannie was a blessing to all that knew her, even without speaking she made those of us that loved her better human beings. She left an imprint on all of our hearts forever. Jeannie loved listening and rocking out to music and loved laughing at the 3 Stooges on TV. Her favorite holiday was a birthday, it didn't matter whose birthday it was, as long we were singing Happy Birthday and there was cake. She even taught us a new version of Happy Birthday that we all now sing. Jeannie enjoyed milkshakes and holding babies. She was a gentle soul and knew if you were sad and would hold your hand and cry. Her favorite persons were her Mom, Dad, and her sister-in-law Dee. Jeanne enjoyed the time she spent with the Unified Community.

This world never gave her what she gained when she stepped into eternity with our Lord and Savior.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Sunday, February 4, at Stauffer funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
