Delores June Manahan

Delores June Manahan (Naugle), 91, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by her children and loved ones in her home on August 15, 2025.

Born on October 4, 1933, in Federalsburg to Evers and Pauline Manahan (Lare), Delores lived a life full of love, faith, and simple joys. She dedicated herself to her family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She found happiness in caring for her children and grandchildren, crocheting, and solving crossword puzzles. She delighted in sharing the cherished stories of long ago, and her joyful laugh and unconditional love left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.

Delores worked for Claire Frock for 27 years before retiring, and later for the Frederick Trading Post for 7 years.

She is survived by her two children, Sandra (Ronnie Sr.) and Evers (Gwen); four grandchildren, Ronnie Jr. (Nicole), Jen, Joanne (Rudy), and Katelyn (Michael); seven great-grandchildren, Gavin (Danielle), Grant, Gabriella,Hailey, Blake, Audrey, and Teagan; and one great-great-grandchild, Ashler.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21, at 3:00pm at Oak Hill Church of God: 10053 Oak Hill Road, Keymar, MD.
