Deloris Ann Smith

Deloris Ann Smith, 88, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Fahrney - Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland.
Born on July 27, 1935, in Locust Grove, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ralph William Reeder and Mabel Mary (Poffenberger).
She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School, class of 1953.
She was an office manager for the doctor's office of Campbell and Packer for over thirty years.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Locust Grove, in Rohrersville, Maryland.
Family was the most important thing to her, she was always there if anybody needed anything.
She is survived by sister, Lois Webber, sister-in-law's, Mary Lou Reeder, Nadine Slifer, Joan Munson (Carlton), eight nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years Wilfred "Smitty" Smith, brothers; Ralph E. Reeder (Betty), Donald W. Reeder (Barbara), Gail L. Reeder, brother-in-law's C. Edgar Webber and James Slifer.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.
A celebration of Deloris's life journey will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the funeral home. Rev. Regina R. Beard will officiate. Burial will follow services at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Locust Grove in Rohrersville, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Church Cemetery Fund, 20214 Locust Grove Road, Rohrersville, Maryland 21779.
