Donna Marie Kersey

Donna Marie Kersey, 65, of Brunswick, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at her home.

Born on October 6, 1959, in Cheverly, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry Ralph Kersey, Sr. and Susie Delores (Powers) Kersey.

She graduated from Rock Creek School in 1980. Following graduation, Donna worked with Scott Key Center for 35 years where she did various custodial jobs at county businesses.

Donna was one of a kind...quite a character who could be stubborn and bossy at times.

Donna was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sister, Melinda Barnhouse and her favorite brother-in-law, Butch; her nephew, Randy Barnhouse and wife Brenna, and their children, Joey, Trevor, Luke and Kassidy; her favorite niece, Kristy Bugbee and husband Matt, and their children, Ian and Austin; and her nephew, Billy Jeffries and wife Tamara, and their children, Michael, Hayden, and Brady.

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by a brother, Mike Kersey, and a sister, Carol Massey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick, MD.

A celebration of Donna's life journey will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim May officiating.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
