Doris Blood

Doris V. Blood, 77, of Frederick died Sunday, November 26, 2017.
Born March 15, 1940 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Goldie Crum.
Doris worked on the assembly line at the former Fedders in Walkersville for over 30 years. Additionally, she enjoyed part-time jobs selling Avon and Creative Cards, just to name a few. She loved to read, eat chocolate, and adored her cats.
She was a member of the Frederick Seventh Day Adventist Church where she was active in many church outreach activities.
Surviving are her son, Colis M. Blood, Jr.; her daughter, Charlene Miller and husband, Tom; two grandchildren, Camilia Powell and Ryan Blood; two sisters, Carol Corey and Lois Summers; and additional immediate family members.
Doris was predeceased by a daughter, Pam Powell.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. There will be no service at the funeral home.
