Dorothy Catherine Virginia Keller

Dorothy (Dottie) Catherine Virginia Keller, age 85, of Middletown, MD, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Fahrney Keedy Memory Care, Boonsboro, MD.

Dottie was born on September 17, 1941, in Boonsboro, MD. She was the only daughter of the late Carrie Mae and William Leonard Netz. Dottie graduated from Boonsboro High School, where she was a beautiful majorette with the band. Dottie worked and retired from a lifetime career at the Acme Grocery Markets, where she made several friends over the years. After retirement, Dottie enjoyed taking bus trips with her family and friends.

Dottie is survived by her husband, Robert Keller, and daughters Yolanda S. Udovich and husband Bob of Hagerstown, MD, and Teresa K. Falkenstein and husband John of Middletown, Md. Mom, who is also known as Nanny, is survived by grandchildren - Grace L. Falkenstein,Dalton R. W. Udovich (Ashley) and Keller J. Falkenstein (Michaela Schmidt). Nanny babysat all of her grandchildren during their early years and loved and spoiled them always. Her latest love, who brought her immense joy, is her precious great-granddaughter, Arizona Wren Udovich, affectionately named Petunia by Nanny. Dottie is also survived by two aunts, Rhoda Wittington and Betty Eichelberger, and numerous cousins.

Fulfilling Mom’s/Nanny’s wishes, a graveside memorial service will be held for immediate family members later. Mom/Nanny is finally at peace.
