Surviving are her three children; daughter Gail and husband Gary Knutsen (Frederick, Maryland and Naples, Florida); son Dicken and wife Coizie Bettinger (LaConner, Washington) and son John and wife Kina Bettinger (Allen, Texas).  Also surviving are eight grand children: Bradd Bowman (Ijamsville, Maryland), Sean and wife Kirsten Bowman (Middletown, Maryland), Gunnar and wife Meredith Knutsen (Olney, Maryland), Nina and husband Mike Tallering (Anacortes, Washington), Benjamin Bettinger (Portland, Oregon), Maria and husband Godfrey Thomson (Round Rock, Texas), Dacil Bettinger and husband Cliff Scott (Aliso Viejo, California), Jonathan and wife Sara Bettinger (Plano, Texas) and 16 great grandchildren; Benjamin and Emma Bowman, Ellery and Campbell Bowman, Christian and Gavin Knutsen, Jacob and Eva Tallering, Loren, Chloe, Kenny and Jodie Thomson, Laeticia Bettinger Scott, and Jason, James and Justin Bettinger.

All who knew her will remember that “Miss Dottie” always had a big smile and lots of love for everyone.  She was a sweet loving child of God.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
