Mr. Earl C. Cook, Jr, 85, of Frederick, died on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Homewood at Crumland Farms, Frederick. He was the husband of Louise L. Cooke, his wife of 64 years.
Born on November 18, 1922, in Brandywine, MD, he was the son of the late Earl C., Sr. and Anna Letcher Cooke. He was an engineer for the National Bureau of Standards. Earl was a member of Masons and enjoyed hunting.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters: Brenda Simmons of Thurmont and Janet Pallas-Dudley and husband Leon of Clarksville, MD; 5 grandchildren: Edward Pallas, Catherine Murphy, Stephanie Murphy, Eric Simmons and Adam Simmons; 5 great grandchildren: Madeline Pallas, Olivia Pallas, Nathan Murphy, Clancy Murphy and Claire Murphy.
