April 5, 1918 — May 12, 2009
Earl E. Adkins, 91 of Frederick, MD passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Northampton Manor. He was the husband of the late Hazel Adkins who passed away March of 2000.
Born April 5, 1918 in Frederick he was the son of the late Keefer and Lottie Adkins.
Earl was a dairy farmer. He had a great love for the outdoors and animals.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Logue and husband Kenneth of Illinois and Linda Rothenhoefer and husband Roger of Thurmont, a son, Todd Adkins of Frederick, three grandchildren, Michael Palmer, Todd Adkins and Ellen Adkins and two great grandchildren, Lacey Palmer and Joslynn Adkins, two sister, Sara Knox and Elvia Castle.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Godfrey and a brother, John Adkins.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Rev. James A. Coblentz officiating.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
