Edith Harris

Edith Gale Westall Harris, 87, of Frederick, MD passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014.  She was the wife of the late Willie (Bill) Harris and the daughter of the late Rhonda Decalve and Nola Ballew Westall of Harmrick, NC.  Edith was preceded in death by sisters Elna, Irene, Mary Sue, Sarah Helen and Ima Jean.  She is survived by her son Benjamin Allen Harris, Sr. and his wife Shirley, and grandson Benjamin Allen Harris, Jr., all of Frederick.  One aunt, Mary Ballew of Damascus, MD and many nieces and nephews also survive her.  Edith retired after 30 years of service with the Federal Government at Fort Detrick, MD.  She was also employed several years with J.C. Penney.
