Mrs. Edna “Lucy” Harkins, 84, formerly of Rockville, died Thursday, December 17. Preceded in death by her husband Charles Harkins, survived by children John M. Harkins, Kim Paparazzo, Jennifer Harkins, and Michael Harkins (Tammy), 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, preceded in death by a son Charles, Jr. siblings Rubin Jones, Jr and Gladys J. Martin. Lucy was the owner of Baskets, Inc in Rockville. She was a foster mother to 40+ children, that she loved and cared for like they were own. Memorial Service at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Rockville United Church, 355 Linthicum St., Rockville.
