Mrs. Eleanor Virginia Ohler, 93, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Twin Oaks Assisted Living in Williamsport. She was the wife of the late Russell B. Ohler, Jr. They were married more than 54 years.
Born May 4, 1921 in Rocky Ridge, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Roy F. and Grace O. Bollinger Valentine.
Eleanor retired, after 42 years, from Claire Frock. She was a lifetime member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Rocky Ridge and a member of the Thurmont Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Ohler is survived by six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters Esther M. Delauter and Marian L. Delauter.
Services will be held at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge on Tuesday, March 3, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am until time of service.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
