Eleanor Wermouth Hamsher

Mrs. Eleanor Wermouth Hamsher, 93, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Homewood of Crumland Farms in Frederick, MD. She was previously a resident of Drexel Hill, PA.

Born June 2, 1913 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Olive McCutcheon Wermouth.

She graduated from Swarthmore High School and attended Bucknell University. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, PA.

She was the wife of the late Carl M. Hamsher and she was preceded in death by her first husband, Stokes T. Henry.

She is survived by her two sons, Craig Henry and Wife Mary and Bruce Henry and wife Marlene all of Myersville, MD her five grandchildren, Brian, Craig and Julia Henry of Myersville, MD, Robin Henry of West Virginia and Scott Henry and wife Tina of Middletown, MD, a great grandchild, Keller Henry of Middletown.

The family sincerely appreciates the wonderful care given to Eleanor by the staff and nurses at Homewood at Crumland Farms these past several years and they also wish to thank Hospice of Frederick County for their kind help.

Services: Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
