Mrs. Elizabeth Gilman Leahy, 88 of Gaithersburg, MD passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010.
Born November 11, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Howard and Caroline Longaker.
She was a loving and caring person who had a vivacious personality, and was adored by her family and friends. She was smart, well read, and could make a person laugh and smile. Her life stories were legend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is predeceased by her two husbands, Edward E. Gilman and Maurice Leahy.
She is survived by her three sons, Peter E. Gilman of Potomac, MD, Wayne P. Gilman of Gaithersburg, MD, Jeffrey A. Gilman of Frederick, MD, and two daughters, Shawn Armhold of Sarasota, FL and Mary E. Gilman of Lockwood, CA, and four grandchildren, and a soon to be born granddaughter.
Services: A private memorial service will be held.
