Ellis Virginia Etzler

Ellis Virginia Etzler, 99, of Walkersville, passed from this life on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Kline Hospice. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Etzler. Born on March 13, 1925, in Walkersville, she was the daughter of George Filler and Elsie (Smith) Filler.

She is survived by her grandsons, Brett Etzler and wife Page, Bryan Etzler and wife Michele, and Brad Etzler and wife Rebi; 4 great-grandsons and 3 great-granddaughters, as well as 5 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Etzler is also survived by a daughter-in-law Lydia Etzler. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Etzler and a daughter-in-law, Glenda Etzler.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville, MD. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Woodsboro, MD.
