Mrs. Evelyn M. Hale, 77, of Frederick died on Friday March 13, 2009 at Glade Valley Nursing Home, Walkersville. She was the wife of the late John W. Flickinger and the late Bernard Hale.
Born on August 13, 1931 in Ladysburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Nettie Hoffman Clabaugh.
Surviving are two children Sharon Loy and her husband Chester and Daryl Flickinger and his wife Kathy all of Frederick. Sisters Catherine Hoffman and Margaret Wastler both of Frederick. Sister in law Shirley Clabaugh of Frederick. 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by brothers James and Ralph Clabaugh, and a sister Shirley Stull.
Visitation:
Friends may call on Monday March 16, 2009 from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services: Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11:00am. Pastor Mark Waldron will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
