Fannie Elizabeth Flook

Fannie Elizabeth Flook passed from this life Friday evening, July 25, 2025. She was married to Elvin Flook for 38 years before his passing on December 17, 2022. Elizabeth was born on March 24, 1939, in Maugansville, MD. She was the daughter of Roman and Catherine Strite Williams. She worked at DHI of Washington County for 25 years and for her daughter at Ruth’s Sewing Room.

Elizabeth loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews dearly.

She is survived by daughter Ruth Aikens & Rickey of Martinsburg, WV, son Joseph Martin & Sandy of Greencastle, PA, Irvin Martin of Mercersburg, PA, Neil Martin & Debbie of Smithsburg, MD, Paul Martin & Carrie of Sharpsburg, MD, sister Ruby Robinson of Martinsburg, WV, & brother Earl Willams of Williamsport, MD.

She was preceded in death by great-granddaughter Mollie Marie Wolfe, two brothers, Roman Willams JR & Albert Willams.

She is survived by 12 Grandchildren & 14 Great Grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fahrney Keedy nursing home & Hospice of Washington Country for the excellent, tender & loving care given to Elizabeth.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Friday, August 1,2025, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the funeral home.

Final resting place will be held at Boonsboro Cemetery.

Elizabeth will be deeply missed not only by her family but by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her beautiful smile, Godly words of wisdom & generous heart touched countless lives.
