Frank (Francis) Xavier Lindner

Frank (Francis Xavier) Lindner, 66, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at his home.

Born on August 23, 1959, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Ernie and Jeannette Lindner. Frank was the husband of Darlene M. Lindner, his wife of 19 years.

Frank was a proud and loving father to his three children, JoAnne M. Lindner, Nicole M. Wynne and husband Patrick, and Ryan P. Burns. He was also a cherished grandpa to Jackson James Wynne, who brought him immense joy. He is survived by his brother, Gerry Lindner and his wife Tina, and sisters, Jane Lyons and husband John, and Rose Marie Lindner along with many extended family members and dear friends who will deeply miss him. 

Frank dedicated many years of service to Johns Hopkins University Police before retiring. He was known for his strong work ethic, commitment, and the respect he earned from colleagues and community members alike.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Celebration of Life celebration at 11:00 a.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy, MD 21771. Inurnment will be private.
