An avid sports fan, he watched baseball and football games.  He attended his sons’ games as farm work allowed.  He was an assistant baseball coach of the Jets for which his sons both played.  In those days Jefferson had a youth baseball league playing on the ball field at Valley Elementary.  He was an avid WV University fan watching their football and basketball teams when the games were televised.

Ott, Perry “Gene” Ott, and Robert E. Ott.
