Garrett Lee Gilbert

Garrett Lee Gilbert, 30, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Born on March 20, 1995, in Frederick, MD he was the son of Timothy Gilbert and Tracy (Thystrup) Remsburg.

Garrett attended Walkersville High School. He worked for RGR and Sons trucking in Woodsboro, MD and loved doing excavating work. Garrett was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping, the beach, hunting and hanging out with his friends.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister, Kaitlyn Gilbert and niece Ava whom he adored. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Walk), 40 Fulton Avenue in Walkersville, MD.

Interment will be private.
