George H. Acton

On January 6, 2007, Mr. George H. Acton passed away at the age of 96. A native Washingtonian and longtime employee of Riggs National Bank retiring after 48 years, he ws predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Frances D. Acton, and a son, Wallace E. Acton.

Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lou Chatfiend, a son, John H. Acton, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Services: A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the chapel at Homewood of Crumland Farms, 7407 Willow Road, Frederick, Md., 21702.
