Georgia Frances Hann

Georgia Frances Hann, 76, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. She was the wife of the late Sylvester Atlee Hann who died in 2022.

Born on February 26, 1949, in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas Biddinger and Sarah Catherine Downs Biddinger.

She was 1967 graduate of Thurmont High School. Georgia worked for more than 40 years as purchasing clerk for Moore Business Forms and later for RR Donnelly.

She was active in her church St. John's Lutheran Church of Creagerstown. Georgia enjoyed watching TV, walking in her neighborhood, listening to old country and gospel music and reading; but most of all spending time with family and grandchildren

She is survived by her son, James Musselwhite, III (Shonda), grandchildren: Marah and Shares Musselwhite; a sister Patsy Putman (Wayne), sister-in-law Audrey "Tillie" Wolfe; a step-son Paul Hann (Stacy); step-grandchildren: John Page (Shani), Beth Wold (Jamie Weddle), Daryl Hann (Christina), Paul Jr, Ashley, and Jordan Hann; step-great grandchildren: John Jr, Tyler, Antonio, Kaleb, and Kaylee Page, Frankie Weddle. Georgia will also be remembers by special friends Dan Putman, Irene Matthews, special neighbors Brent and Kiersten Duggan and their family; as well as many cousins, step-nieces and nephews, step-cousins, neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband James Musselwhite, Jr, step-children: Susie Hann, Sharon Hann and Timothy Hann.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Creagerstown, 8619 Blacks Mill Road in Thurmont, MD.  Followed by a celebration of Georgia's life at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Creagerstown Lutheran Cemetery in Rocky Ridge, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Association.
