Gerald McAfee

Gerald McKinely McAfee, 90, of Keedysville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Farhney Keedy Memorial Home.
Born November 13, 1927, he was the son of the late Thomas and Fanny (Keets) McAfee.
He was employed at Reed Industries, later retiring from Rotorex, following retirement he went part time at Hagerstown Housing Authority. He was a member of the Mount Briar Church of God.
He is survived by his six daughters; Shirley Timmons (Rocky), Debora Herbert (John), Emma Snavely ( the late William), Kathy Grimm and Diane Deener all of Keedysville, and Donna Showe (Gary) of Hagerstown; three sons, Anthony "Tony" McAfee (Faith) of Falling Waters, WV, Gary McAfee (Judy) of Keedysville, and Vernon Thomas of Illinois, 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
He proceeded in death by his wife Edith (Miller) McAfee who passed away in 1993, sons; Michael McAfee and Richard Barger Jr.; grandson Edward Keller and brothers; Thomas and Elmer McAfee. He was the last of immediate family.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713. Rev. Joseph Burdette and Rev. Kenneth Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
Friends will be received from 6-8pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
