Geraldine Foster

Geraldine Foster, 79, of Rocky Ridge, MD, passed from this life on Friday, December 20, 2024, at her home in Rocky Ridge, MD. Born on March 17, 1945, in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Walter E. Hughes and Virginia (M.) Hughes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Foster, and her brother, Emmett Hughes. She is survived by her brother, Michael Hughes (Diane) and several nieces and a nephew.

Gerri was a volunteer at the Thurmont Senior Center and at Darby's Place Cat Sanctuary in Mount Airy, MD, where she was very active. 

Burial services will be private for the family.
