Gilbert {Gill} N. Fogle, Jr.

Mr. Gilbert Gill N. Fogle, Jr., 58, of Frederick, died on Sunday, August 3rd, 2008 at Frederick Memorial Hospital . He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years,
Betty J. ( Fogle ) Fogle.

Born on November 12, 1949 in Boyds, MD. he was a son of the late Gilbert N. Fogle, Sr. and Marie E. ( Leppo ) Fogle.

Mr. Fogle was employed with Suburban Propane for 38 years. He enjoyed; dancing with his wife Betty, traveling, gardening ( especially Tomatoes ), and trips to Charlestown and Atlantic City. Gill cherished spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving beside his wife are; 4 children; Charles Gilbert, Kathy Gilbert and fiance Lee Ellis, Tammy Stambaugh and husband David, Carol Burriss and husband Michael, 11 grandchildren; Barry Wallace, Jimmy and Billy Burriss, Paul, Donnie and Ashley Gilberrt, Davie, Sheena and Ariel Stambaugh, Modesta Weedon and Jessica Gilbert, great-grandchildren Keyonna Dorsey, Amea Dorsey , and a expected great-grandchild.

He is also survived by his twin brother, Charles H. Fogle, a brother Daniel E. Fogle, and 2 sisters; Shirley A. and Evelyn R. Fogle. He was preceded in death by a brother Joe Leppo.

Visitation: Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Thursday, August 7th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Ed Jordan officiating. Interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandchildren; Paul and Donnie Gilbert, David Stambaugh, Jr., Barry Wallace and nephews; Mike Johnson and Robert Cook.
