Gloria Ann Ciorra, 85, born on January 28, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Herbert and Katherine Remaly, passed away peacefully in her hometown on January 17, 2026. Gloria's life was a testament to love, family, and dedication, making her a cherished figure to all who knew her.

Growing up in Pittsburgh, Gloria graduated from Holy Ghost Academy and later got involved in the wallpaper hanging industry before moving to Frederick where she established a successful career as the owner of G & G Wallpaper Hanging Company. She then worked at the Brass and Copper Polishing shop in Frederick, where she restored antiques, forming numerous friendships with her local customers. Her professional journey was marked by an unwavering commitment to quality and community.

Above all, Gloria treasured her family. She is survived by her son, Robert Ciorra (Cindy); her daughter, Kathy Nowinski (Robert); her grandson, Robert Nowinski (Jennifer); grandson Michael Ciorra; granddaughter Morgan Lawson (Brad); grandson Jordan Reedy (Emily); sister Carole Kirby, and numerous family and friends. Gloria also proudly embraced the role of Nana to her five great-grandchildren, whom she adored.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Robert Anthony Ciorra; her beloved daughter, Debra Ann Reedy, and her parents, Herbert and Katherine Remaly. Her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all family and friends who shared precious moments with her.

Gloria loved traveling with her sister all over the world and proudly watched two of her great-grandchildren full time. In addition to her family relationships she loved visiting the casino, taking her chance on scratch-offs, collecting antiques, assembling puzzles, and spending sunny days outdoors especially at the beach. Her vibrant personality and zest for life shined in every aspect of her daily activities.

The legacy of Gloria Ann Ciorra will be celebrated during visitation at Stauffer Funeral Home located at 1621 Opossumtown Pike Frederick, Maryland 21702, on January 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
