Grace Virginia Brown

Grace Virginia Brown, 80, of Myersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Northampton Manor Health Care Center in Frederick, Maryland. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was born on June 5, 1946 in Montgomery County, Maryland to Carl Hairfield and Lula (Howes) Knight. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Hugh R Brown, her sister Sue Ann Weimer, and brother Allen Howes.

Grace was a 1964 graduate of Sherwood High School. She was a homemaker with several part-time jobs to keep life interesting. She enjoyed arts and crafts, spending time with her cousins, and volunteering at Prospect United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Richard Brown (Micheala) of Keymar, MD, and Tammy Fisher (Kevin) of Myersville, MD, grandchildren Mitchell and Morgan Brown and Riley and Jake Fisher, and multiple nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Carl Hairfield, Jr.

A celebration of Grace's life journey will take place at a later date.
