Grant Windbeck

Grant Alexander Windbeck, 16, of Sharpsburg, MD and Waynesboro, PA, passed away on June 18, 2019 as a result of a vehicle accident.
Born on October 24, 2002 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Frederick Charles Windbeck III and Donna Marie Ann (Norsworthy) Windbeck. He was attending Waynesboro High School, where he just finished the 10th grade. He enjoyed fencing, playing video PC gaming, and was an animal lover. He was well liked by his many friends and he enjoyed spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings; Abby Kingery, Fred Windbeck IV, Joshua Windbeck and Ryan Windbeck; he is also survived by his paternal grandfather, Frederick Windbeck Jr. and paternal grandmother, Diane Hepler; uncles, David Norsworthy, David Windbeck, Kenneth Windbeck, Lonnie Paul Norsworthy; aunt, Kim Ruble; cousins, Paige Kennedy, Kara Norsworthy, Kyle Norsworthy, Kyle Windbeck, Cindy Ruble and Heather Ruble; and his nephews, Logan Windbeck, Mattie Kingery, Kody Kingery and Scottie Kingery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21788.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 1253 Mount Aetna Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740. Bishop Jessie Melby will officiate.
