Gregory Allen Perry

Gregory Allen Perry, 68, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Born on June 11, 1954, in Olney, MD, he was the son of the late James Lester Perry and Annie E. (Davis) Perry.

Gregory enjoyed watching the Classic TV shows, playing Scrabble, listening to old Country music, and playing the lottery.  He loved telling jokes, partaking in his favorites, Diet Coke, Sunkist and Steamed Crabs. He also enjoyed going the church each week at Lorien.   He had a great memory and looked forward to calling and wishing his family a Happy Birthday on their special day.  He truly enjoyed and loved his family and appreciated the staff at Lorien for their care and companionship extended to him.  

He treasured his very special bond with his sister, Delores.  He will be missed and remembered always.

He is survived by his sisters, Delores Knight and husband, Walter, Jean Case, Debbie Smith and husband, Mike and Terri Shackelford and husband, Tony.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Stallings, Roger Perry, Larry Perry, Carson Perry and Tommy Perry.

A celebration of Gregory's life  will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Stauffer Funeral Homes,  8 East Ridgeville,  Mt. Airy, MD. 21771.  Rev. Tim May   will officiate.  Interment will be private.
