Guy William Mills, Jr.

Guy William “Billy” Mills Jr , 82, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on April 14, 2024, at the Kline Hospice House. Born on December 28, 1941, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Guy William and Mary Helen Mills.

Billy served in the U.S. Air Force as a cook. He drove a cement mixer for Superior Concrete retiring with 40 years of service. He was a member of the Frederick Amvets Post 2, Redmen, Eagles, and Moose clubs. 

He is survived by his wife, Doris Kotchenreuther; his children, Robert, John, and Judy Mills and their mother Judy Sheridan of New Jersey; Amanda (Bo) Mayo of Ohio; grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Lauren, Darrin, Andrew, Johnny, Kali, Josie, Skyler and Zach; great-grandson, Hayden; siblings, Larry Mills and Shirley (Roger) McThenia; Doris’ children, Bobby, Kenny, and Debbie Kotchenreuther; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Lou Mills, great-granddaughter Lilian Mayo and great-nephew, Cameron McThenia.

A celebration of Billy’s life will be held at the Frederick Amvets Post #2 on Sunday, April 28 at 1pm.
