Mrs. Harriet P. MacFarland, 75, of Adamstown, MD passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Northampton Nursing and Rehab in Frederick, MD. Born May 2, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Zawatsky and Max Wellisch. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. MacFarland; Nephew, David Wellisch and wife Dolores and their children, David, Daniel, and Sophia; Niece, Christine Wellisch Grahn and husband Lawrence and their children, Corinne, Lilianna, and Eric; Numerous Cousins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Hank, David, Marshall and Bernard Wellisch. Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 1-2PM with services following at 2PM. Rabbi Daniel Sikowitz will officiate. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Frederick, MD.
