Hayes N. Harmon

Mr. Hayes N. Harmon , 85, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy, MD. He was the beloved husband of Sharon L. Harmon for 24 years.

Born on June 26, 1941, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Albert and Julia (Boyles) Harmon.

Hayes worked at Frederick Brick works for 38 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed gardening and going to auctions.

In addition to his wife, he will be missed by his good friend, Larry Fogle.

He is survived by his brothers Howard "Bill" Harmon, Dewey Harmon, Linda Harmon all of Frederick, and Thomas "Tommy" Harmon of Palmer, Alaska. His daughters Nancy Morgan, SueLynn Lake, and Celia Manis and seven grandchildren Franklin and Amanda Lake, Jessica Wisner, Samantha Langley, Derrick Reincke, John Harmon, Jr., and Mell Harmon and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his Aunt Lois Boatwright and son, John Wayne Harmon, Sr., sister, Beth Baker, and his grandson Charles Morgan III.

A graveside service will be at 3 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
