Helen Anne Parks

Helen Anne Parks, 66 years old, of Jefferson, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 peacefully in her sleep at home. 

Helen was born on October 20, 1957 to the late Stuart Parks and Nettie Jones in Frederick.

She graduated from Brunswick High School in 1975. Helen had retired from the State of Maryland.  

Helen is survived by her half-brother, Stuart Parks; her daughter, Angela Faye Millard; and her grandchildren, Declan Hopwood and Zoey Millard.   

She is preceded in death by her son, William James Hopwood, II. 

She was loved by many people.  She was a very warm, loving and kind mother, sister, and friend.  She will be missed greatly. 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Burkittsville Union Cemetery with Pastor Nicole Wachter officiating with burial to follow.
