Passed peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones, on August 23rd. Henry was dearly loved by his wife, Annie, of 64 years; children, David (Shirley), Melvina (David), Nancy (Paul), Lisa (Edward), Peggy (Kenny), Carl (Geraldine), Alisia (Paul), grandchildren, William, Timothy, Kevin, John, Peggi, Mark, Daniel L., Jason, Elizabeth, Aleasha, Matthew, Danielle, Daniel R., Jeffrey, Madison, Luke; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He worked at National Institute of Health for 20 years and retired in 2001. He had a love and compassion for animals. His humor, devotion and compassion to those he loved was limitless and a true blessing to all who knew him. We will miss our dear father and Poppaw.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Crestwood Village Clubhouse, Wednesday, August 29th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (ASPCA) or to his GoFundMe memorial fund would be appreciated.
