Herman F. {Butch} Willis, Jr.

Mr. Herman F. Butch Willis Jr., 63, of Walkersville, peacefully passed away Friday evening, Dec. 22, 2006, at home.
Born Oct. 8, 1943, in Fort Smith, Ark., he was the son of the late Herman F. Willis and F. Novella Griffin.
Butch served 21 years in the United States Army, working in the Medical Service Corp, where he retired as a Major. After retirement, he worked for Civil Service in Procurement Management. He retired in 2001 to enjoy his hobbies of golf, bowling and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Willis; four children, Scott Willis, Whitney Mawae and husband Scott, Mark Willis and friend Ailina and Wendy Mawae and husband Mark; five grandchildren; and many cousins in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas.
He will be remembered also by his devoted friend Hank Holiday.

Services: Memorial services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at 1 p.m.; friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
