Hope Michael

Hope Michael, 83, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Lorien Assisted Living in Mount Airy, Maryland.

Born on December 3, 1937, in Augusta, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hillier and Florence (Lyon) Hillier.

She was the loving wife of the late Jerome J. Michael, they were married on August 27, 1960 in Washington D.C.

Mrs. Michael graduated from Cony High School in Augusta, Maine and earned an Associates degree from the International Studio of Interior Design in Washington D.C.

She is survived by her children Melinda Hannah and husband, Richard, Tammy Irwin and husband, Doug and Pamm Shankman and husband, Andrew.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

A private interment will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Norbeck Memorial Park in Olney, MD.
