Jack Randall Sexton

Jack Randall Sexton, 13, of Brunswick, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Born on March 31, 2012, in Libertytown, MD he was the son of Kayla Nicole Sexton of Brunswick and Joshua Dean Wright of Emmitsburg, MD.

Jack attended 8th grade at Brunswick Middle school. He played football for bjr as well as basketball on a Brunswick rec team. Jack loved sports and cars. He could tell you anything you wanted to know about brands of cars or football players. He was extremely compassionate towards everyone he met. He loved everyone he came in contact with. Jack loved music from an early age and singing at the top of his lungs. He gave the best hugs. We will miss jacks big smile when he entered the room with his favorite saying “Hey girly pops”

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Kaysin Sexton, Maternal grandmother Melissa Sexton of Brunswick, paternal grandmother Kelle Rhinehart of Thurmont MD. aunt Ashlie Hitchcock and husband Justin Hitchcock (cousins Paislee,Harper,Wrenley)of Thurmont MD, uncle Cory Sexton and Makayla Herbert(cousin Riley) of Poolesville, aunts Hope and Olivia Sexton of Brunswick; Maternal great grandmother Cathy Carlin of Charlestown, WV, maternal great grandmother Barbara Ann sexton of Thurmont,MD ,paternal great grandparents Debbie and Jeff Pope of Emmitsburg,MD. Many great aunts and uncles and cousins, his entire Brunswick and Catoctin friends and football team.

He was preceded in death by great grandfather Norman Hall Sexton, Sr. and Grandfather Norman Hall Sexton, jr.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Brunswick), 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick, MD.

A celebration of Jack's life journey will take place at 5 pm. The family will have a fellowship after the service at the Brunswick fire hall immediately following the service with food.
