Jacqueline P. Wilson, age 91, formerly of Myersville and Hagerstown, MD, passed away at Homewood Living in Williamsport, Md. on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

She was born in Washington, D.C. on November 1, 1934, a daughter of the late Weldon P. and Thelma L. (Geigenberger) Printz.

She graduated from McKinley Technical High School. She married her late husband, Joseph A. Wilson, in 1954. They moved from the D.C. area to Middletown, Maryland in 1969. She spent 27 years working for the Dept. of Agriculture, Green Belt, Md., retiring in 1979.

Jackie loved being outdoors. She logged thousands of miles trail riding on horseback, hiking, and biking. She loved horses, particularly Morgans, and with her husband were founding members of the Potomac Morgan Horse Club. She learned to ski following retirement and enjoyed planning each year’s trip(s) to various resorts. Her faith was very important to her and one way she shared it was by supporting various church camps, particularly by teaching horseback riding and leather craft.

Jackie and her husband welcomed many family members into their home through the years, including two nephews, Robert Wilson and Ronnie Wilson; and one niece, Vicki (Davis) George, whom they helped to raise.

She is survived by her very dear friend and travelling companion, Mary Riley; her aforementioned nephews and nieces; also nephews, Chuck and Chris Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jackie was predeceased by her husband, Joe; her parents; and her sister, Lynette.

The family would like to extend their grateful appreciation to the care-givers and staff of Hilltop and the memory care unit of Homewood Living in Williamsport, MD and Hospice of Washington County.

A “Celebration of Life” will be conducted by Pastor Rachel Black at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 4th at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD. The family will be present one hour prior to the beginning of the service to meet with family and friends.
