Jailyn Jones

Jailyn Lawrence Jones, 17, of Germantown, passed from this life on Monday, January 24, 2022.

Born on April 28, 2004, in Memphis, TN, he was the son of Korri L. Whitte, Sr. and Alexis M. Jones-McDaniel.

He was a student at Northwest High School in Germantown where he was a senior. Jailyn liked cars, music and to dance.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters: Jessica D. Jones and Khadijan L. Morrow; three brothers: Korri L. Morrow, Jr., Kortney Morrow and Dennis Terrell; grandparents: Ardella Jones, Lawrence S. Elsberry, Waymon Anderson and Tempie Anderson and husband Stanley; his great grandmother, Shirley Anderson; aunts: Latoya Anderson, Erica Anderson, Chrissy Anderson and Hailey Anderson; uncles: Jerome Henderson and Waymon Anderson, Jr.; as well as a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.

A celebration of Jailyn's life is entrusted to E H Ford Mortuary Services in Memphis, TN on Saturday, February 5.  Interment will be at Kimbrough Chapel Cemetery in  Lamar, MS.
