James Monroe Bowers, Jr.

James Monroe Bowers Jr., 58, of Emmitsburg, Maryland, died suddenly on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was the loving husband of Brenda Bowers.

Born on October 7, 1966, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Betty Louise (Stone) Bowers of Frederick and the late James Monroe Bowers.

James attended TJ High School and worked as a tradesman for many years and was also employed at Lowe's. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting pool.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters, Emily and Danielle; siblings, Terry Fox, Cathy Wetzel, and Jason Bowers; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of James' life journey will be announced at a later date.
