James Hall

James Gerard Hall, 62, of Point of Rocks, MD passed away peacefully on Friday, July 22, 2022.

Jimmy was the tenth child of the late Perry Hall and Florence Patricia (Donovan) Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Bonthron) Hall of 43 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by  three sons, Timothy Hall, Sean Hall and his wife, Elizabeth Mangan Hall and Michael Hall;  two granddaughters, Brooke Hall and Olivia Hall.

Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and cousin. He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jimmy was a loyal and treasured friend to many. His dear friends became his extended family. He had a gift of bringing joy and laughter to all who knew him and his legacy will  provide each of us a lifetime of memories.

“Big Jim” will be missed by many and has delivered the ultimate Irish Goodbye.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, John Hall, Eileen Hall, Michael Hall, Daniel Hall, and Christopher Hall.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD. 21771.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at St. Michael's Catholic Church at Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michael's Road, Mt. Airy, MD.

Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD.
