Frederick

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James C. Mull, Jr., a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He passed away at his residence in Frederick, surrounded by his loving family. James was an IT specialist dedicated to his work for over 35 years.

Born in Pennsylvania, James developed a passion for technology from a young age. After graduating from Penn State in 1987, he embarked on a fulfilling career that allowed him to showcase his expertise in the field. James's dedication to his work was unwavering and he was highly regarded by his colleagues and clients alike.

While James excelled in his professional life, it was his role as a devoted family man that brought him the most joy. He cherished every moment spent with his wife of 28 years, Carol Ann Mull, and their two daughters, Keira and Laina Mull. Bonus daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Timothy Hooven; family gatherings were always filled with laughter and love as James entertained everyone with his great sense of humor and infectious laugh.

In addition to being an exceptional husband and father, James held a special place in the hearts of his surviving family members: mother, Rose Ann Mull; sisters, Linda Mull and Connie Morrison; brothers, Ken Mull and Tom Mull; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he adored.

James had an adventurous spirit and diverse range of hobbies and interests which included pinball machine restoration, Lego model building, and anything related to Star Wars. He loved keeping up with the latest movies or TV shows alongside his family. One could always find him walking with Oreo and Molly, his faithful Shetland sheepdogs.

In the face of this deep loss, it is important to celebrate James's proudest accomplishments - being a dedicated family man. His love and support extended beyond his immediate family, always taking time to listen and offer profound life advice to those he loved. James had an extraordinary ability to add light-heartedness to any situation, making every moment spent with him memorable.
