James Podlas
July 3, 1948 — July 4, 2016
James Joseph Podlas went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2016.
He is lovingly survived by his wife: Christy Behan Podlas, his children: Laura, Julia, and Joseph, and his stepchildren: Erika and Matthew. He has 8 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren.
James was a graduate of Montclair State University and Rutgers Law School. James was also a decorated Vietnam Veteran. And lastly, James was a criminal law attorney who passionately served the people of the state of Maryland via the Public Defender's Office. Loved always.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Pastor Jeremiah Herbert will officiate.
