Mr. James Thomas Jenkins, 78 of Daytona Beach Shores, passed away on December 23, 2006 . He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Jenkins.
Born on July 6, 1928 in Mt. Savage, MD he was a son of the late James and Rena Jenkins. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was later employed by Travenol where he worked until retiring. Surviving beside his wife are a sister Phyllis J. Mowery of Daytona Beach Shores, a brother Leonard R. Jenkins of Mt. Savage, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara and Charles Johnson of Woodbine, brother-in-law Gerald Johnson of Hyattsville, five Godchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at Stauffer funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy on Friday, December 29th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Popular Springs Cemetery, Mount Airy.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones' choice.
