Wife, mother, and grandmother Jamie Beth Phannavong will be remembered for her generous and caring nature. Jamie passed away on September 23, 2022 surrounded by loved ones who will honor her life by continuing her legacy of love and care for others.
Jamie demonstrated her commitment to the care of others through her work with CaringMatters.org, founded as Hospice Caring in 1989. Her coworkers will remember her for her friendship, dedication, and infectious sense of humor.
It was the simple things in life that brought great joy to Jamie, like going to the beach and fishing with her husband, John. She enjoyed arts & crafts, especially crocheting. She also loved spending time with family, friends, and furry friends too. She had an uncanny ability to befriend anyone she met.
Jamie is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Amanda; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Aalayah; grandson, Noah; her brother and sister-in-law James and Carla; nephew, Evan; niece, Erin; and great-nieces, Ella, Ameila, and Aubree. She will also be missed by her fur babies, Teddy and Neo; fur grandbabies, Bounlaiy, Loui, Rhonan, and Madeline, and many extended family members, co workers, and close friends.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. A Homegoing Celebration will begin at 1 p.m. from the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be private.
Gathering to follow the service at 28924 Ridge Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
