Mrs. Janet E. Lilly (née Kirk), of Frederick, MD, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the age of 60.
Janet was the daughter of the late Ralph and Bernice Kirk, born on August 18, 1954 in Middletown, OH. She enlisted in the United States Air Force and attained the rank of lieutenant. While stationed in Biloxi, MS, she married Charles M. Lilly. For the past twenty years, she worked in various businesses as a contract manger. Her many interests included the welfare of hearing-impaired children, and she served as the Executive Director of American Society for Deaf Children (ASDC) in the 1980s.
Janet is survived by her daughters, Amanda and Lauren; her son, Andrew; her sister, Beverly Zimack; and her brother, Wilson Kirk.
Services and interment will be held privately for the immediate family.
